Lawyer – Licensing

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Solicitor/Legal Executive to join our Company and Commercial Team, focusing on Licensing Law, based in our Torquay office.

We are seeking an ambitious applicant. The role would suit an experienced fee earner or 1-5 years plus qualified, Solicitor (or Legal Executive equivalent).

The Licensing Lawyer will have the ability to confidentially manage your own caseload of work and clients independently.

Key Responsibilities;

Confidentially manage your own caseload of work and clients

Prepare Licensing applications

Liaise with Licensing Authorities and other Responsible Authorities

Deal with resulting queries

Advise clients in relation to their matters

Handle confidential information

Conduct legal research

Assist other team members when required

Assist with marketing and business development efforts

You will need to have excellent client care skills as the department, and the firm, prides itself on exceeding clients’ expectations. You will also have a desire to play an active part in the marketing and progression of the department.
