Wollens is delighted to announce a new partnership with Padel United UK, a leading force in the rapid expansion of padel across the United Kingdom.

Padel, a fast-growing sport that blends the skills of squash and traditional tennis, is played in an outdoor court environment and is gaining significant popularity nationwide. The new padel courts, located next to the Riviera Centre in Torquay, proudly feature Wollens’ vibrant branding—bringing colour, energy, and visibility to the site.

Padel United UK is the longest-serving operator of padel clubs in the country. Founded in 2015, the organisation has grown to include multiple locations across the UK. Their mission is to make padel accessible to everyone—regardless of age or skill level—while fostering inclusive and active communities through sport.

Chris Hart, Chief Executive at Wollens, commented:

“We are delighted to be partnering with Padel United at their site in Torquay. This is a vibrant and ever-growing sport, and it’s fantastic to see our branding associated with the courts. We wish Miles and the team much success with their exciting venture going forward.”

Miles Bromilow is the Operations Director at Padel United UK and he said

“We’re incredibly excited to have Wollens on board as a sponsor at Padel United Torquay. Their support not only helps us continue growing the sport of padel in the South West, but also reflects a shared commitment to building strong, active communities across Devon. As we expand our network and introduce more people to this fast-paced, social sport, partnerships like this are key to making it all happen.”
