Eleanor is a member of the Child Care Team dealing with all aspects of children law. Eleanor specialises in care matters and child protection.
Eleanor trained and qualified at a City law firm before moving into public law legal aid where she gained extensive experience acting in a range of legally aided casework on behalf of vulnerable people.
Eleanor joined Wollens in November 2018 and specialises in public law care proceedings. Eleanor is experienced in casework where non-accidental injuries against the child are alleged and in proceedings involving issues of sexual risk, substance misuse, neglect and domestic abuse. Eleanor regularly represents young and vulnerable parents including parents with learning difficulties and parents with significant mental health conditions. Eleanor is also experienced in taking instructions from the Official Solicitor.
Eleanor takes a practical and sensitive approach to her casework. She is friendly, approachable and works hard to get the best possible outcome for her clients.
