Hannah Van Niekerk
I joined Wollens in September 2019 and I am currently undergoing my training contract to fully qualify as a Solicitor. I graduated from university with a first class with honours in my Bachelors of Law (LLB) and a distinction for my Master of Law and Practice (MLP).
Upon graduating from university and prior to the start of my training contract, I gained experience working in the field of human rights. I worked in a legal clinic in South Africa that specialised in assisting refugees and asylum seekers. My current role at Wollens involves liaising with clients, drafting documents under supervision and attending court under supervision.
At University I won a prize on my Master of Law and Practice course for having the highest mark in the Employment Law elective.
In my spare time I love spending time exploring Devon with my dog. I also enjoy running, tennis and swimming. When I get chance I try to fundraise for the British Red Cross and I am currently completing Miles for Refugees.
