I joined Wollens in September 2018 and worked for 1 year as a paralegal in the residential property department, before beginning my training contract in September 2019 to qualify as a Solicitor. I graduated from the University of Exeter with a first class with honours Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and from the University of Law with a Law Masters (LLM) in Legal Practice with Distinction. During my training contract, I have undertaken 3 seats in the firm being in dispute resolution, family law and commercial and residential property. I have now returned to dispute resolution where I qualify as a solicitor very soon and am specialising in the area of property litigation.
During my time as a student, I gained much valuable experience working as counsel’s clerk for a family law firm in London and undertook a mini-pupillage at a barristers’ chambers in Temple, London.
As a mature student and trainee solicitor, this is my third career, having had previous careers as a software developer and a restaurateur in London and I therefore bring much breadth of experience to my role as a lawyer.
I very much enjoy outdoor pursuits and particularly mountaineering and trekking and I have climbed to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in East Africa for charity. I love travelling and foreign culture and am bilingual and I also love food from around the world (both cooking and eating!).
