I first embarked on my legal career at a law firm in Dorset, training at the offset in their residential conveyancing department. In 2015 I began studying LLB Law at the University of Exeter and graduated with exemplary grades (including First Class Honours in land law). I joined Wollens’ fast-paced New Build Conveyancing Department in 2018 and hit the ground running. With over 6 years’ hands on legal experience, and an incredible team around me, I have had the opportunity to specialise in complex registration issues; shared-ownership transactions; Buildmark Insurance (including NHBC and LABC); HMRC Stamp Duty issues; and of course Help to Buy. I am experienced in dealing with both freehold and leasehold purchases (and single transactions that include both). I start my Legal Practice Course in September 2019, alongside my Master’s Degree in Professional Legal Practice, to not only expand my knowledge but as the next step towards qualifying as a solicitor. I have however opted to study on a part-time basis so I can continue to enjoy being a full-time member of our New Build team!
Our team works closely with Developers, Lenders, and all other parties to ensure that you receive an efficient and smooth service that does not compromise any of the thoroughness or legal expertise that one would expect when purchasing a brand new property. We understand that dealing with the purchase of a new build requires a different skill set and proficiency than that of just normal residential conveyancing, and as such we have built our team to cater specifically to your needs. Whether you’re a first time buyer unsure of where to start, or an experienced purchaser buying-to-let; whether your property is build complete or currently raw materials awaiting construction- we are a friendly and approachable team who would love to help you.
