Sho Taniyama

I joined Wollens in August 2022 after graduating from the University of Exeter with a first-class law degree. I work in the Dispute Resolution team and provide advice and assistance in a wide variety of property and land related disputes including:

  1. Boundary disputes
  2. Party-wall disputes
  3. Landlord and tenant disputes
  4. Neighbour disputes
  5. Land alteration applications

I have a keen interest in commercial disputes and contract law, developed throughout my academic career and which has aided within other roles:

  1. Breach of contract claims.
  2. Breach of settlement agreements.
  3. Drafting tenancy agreements.

Prior to joining Wollens, I worked for Mr David Lammy MP as a research assistant for the University of Reading on a project with was sponsored by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.

I’ve also worked on a wide variety of pro-bono initiatives including acting as a caseworker at the University of Exeter.

I’m fluent in English, Japanese and Chinese.
