I would recommend this firm and J Dickson for professional services, kindness and patience. I had a lot of questions about how to leave my estate between my two sons, one of whom is severely learning disabled and therefore unable to ever manage his own funds. My husband and I recently moved to the UK from the US and needed new/UK wills. Mr Dickson was excellent in explaining the terminology differences and answered all questions in a timely manner. In the US we had needed a trust, but here in the UK a will was sufficient, nice not to get things too complicated. Getting a face to face appointment was not difficult and timely.

Jonathan gave us some very informative information about the potential tax liabilities we could end up paying to HMRC which will be taken into account when agreeing a potential settlement.

I was very impressed with the level of service provided regarding to the completion of the matter well within time and I found Mr Dickson and Ms Rowles competent and very approachable and friendly throughout the matter. Messages left were replied to quickly and I felt very at ease dealing with this firm.

From our first meeting, handshake & smile Mr Dickson was extremely helpful and took time to explain in simple terms the best way to deal with our situation. He liaised with our accountant for best practical advice and we accepted this and acted on it with the help of David Morgan-Wynne who is dealing with the sale of land for us which is why CGT advice is vital. This is a world we know nothing about and we’re so grateful for his understanding and advice.
