I am an experienced paralegal and have been in the legal profession for over 23 years.  I have worked in various roles and departments over the course of my career, including criminal law, prison law, personal injury and family law.  I have studied with CILEX and gained the Level 6 Diploma in Law and Practice in 2017.

I joined the family team at Wollens in 2022 and now assist Rachel Carter in the care team, specialising in cases involving allegations of non accidental injuries to children.  We represent parents from all over England and Wales in very difficult circumstances where there are concerns that children may have been shaken, physically injured or are at risk from FII (fabricated or induced illness).

This is a very specialist area of care proceedings and involves complex medical issues that need to be properly explored and understood.  Rachel is one of the few solicitors in the country who practises exclusively in this area of law, and our team is instrumental in ensuring that the court can make the best possible decisions for these families.  More information on Rachel’s work in this area and how we can assist parents can be found on our website or at Help and advice for parents accused of non-accidental injury | Parents Accused
