I joined Wollens in January 2020 in the Property Department in their Barnstaple office having been at my previous firm for nine years.
I began my legal career 18 years ago at a law firm in London, starting off as a receptionist, which led to becoming a legal secretary and eventually handling my own caseload as a fee earner. I have gained experience in Private Client, but my main expertise is in Residential Conveyancing (to include sales, purchases, re-mortgaging and transfer of equity). It is really important to me that I am able to guide my clients through what can be a very daunting and stressful experience, and working alongside a great team of people with experience, knowledge and qualifications in different areas of law, we aim to make each transaction as smooth as possible.
Since moving to this beautiful part of the country in 2009, I have settled in Braunton and live with my son. We love trips to the beach, long dog walks, holidays abroad and simply relaxing watching a movie with a big bowl of popcorn.
I also speak Afrikaans fluently, it is my first language!
