I am a Paralegal in the Family team at Wollens, based in our South Devon office. I completed my LLB Law degree at the University of Surrey in 2024.
Before beginning my final year of studies, I spent six months living in Argentina during a gap year, where I volunteered in a law firm and gained valuable insight into a different legal system and working culture. Living abroad encouraged me to be adaptable and confident when working with people from diverse backgrounds, qualities that continue to benefit me in supporting clients today.
After graduating, I joined Wollens in 2025 as a Legal Support Assistant in the Family Law team and have since progressed to the role of Paralegal.
Having developed experience within the Family team, I support clients through a range of family law matters, with a particular focus on divorce and financial arrangements following separation. I understand that relationship breakdown can be an emotional and challenging time, and I am committed to supporting clients to navigate the legal process with clarity, sensitivity and practical support.
Alongside divorce and financial matters, I also assist clients with Change of Name Deeds. I enjoy helping clients understand the legal process and take pride in providing a professional and approachable service. I strive to ensure they feel supported and informed throughout their matter.
Outside of work, I enjoy sports, travelling, learning about different cultures and languages, and spending time with family and friends.

Testimonials
Steve and Nicky were incredible during our recent house purchase. Their communication was clear throughout, which made a stressful process much easier to manage… Steve was consistently thorough, professional, and reassuring… We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Steve, Nicky, and the wider Wollens team. If we ever move again, we’ll be using them without question. – N., June 2026
Wollens have been absolutely fantastic during the entire case but my experience working with Amelia has been exceptional. I cannot fault anything about her work and will most definitely recommend/request her if myself or anyone else of that matter needs legal advice/representation. – H., July 2026
The caring and understanding I received from my solicitor was absolutely superb… I would highly recommend her and the firm. – N.S., August 2026
I cannot praise Wollens Barnstaple branch highly enough for excellent, professional service when selling and purchasing property. I would happily recommend them and intend using them again for further legal matters. Thank you so much Andrew Wood for making it all such a smooth and stress free process.
My will was all done remotely by phone, notes, letters due to the distance involved – about 145 miles, general health and Covid restrictions. More recently I had a serious illness with loss of driving license and other lasting problems but I have been very lucky with the outcome. What seemed difficult was much easier with the help I was given. Excellent service. Solicitor Alex Jenkins and secretary Enya Garrett have been friendly, considerate, shown knowledge in an understanding way throughout preparing my will – and I have never met them. Wollens is highly recommended.
Craig and Shirley at Wollen’s have supported us throughout a particularly tricky matter, where usual routes of communication were not possible. The advice that we were given was always very clear and concise and we found Wollen’s very responsive to any queries or concerns. They were conscious of the weighty emotional element involved but very mindful of removing the emotion from decision making processes, which made it easier to see the bigger picture. I would certainly recommend to friends or colleagues requiring legal support.
