Having decided at an early age that I wanted to pursue a career in law, I attended the University of Exeter, Carleton University, Ontario and Oxford Institute of Legal Practice to complete my legal education.  More recently, I have completed the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioner’s Diploma.

My training, with a national firm,  was heavily focused on serving private clients in various different specialisms which has given me an invaluable understanding of the challenges faced by individuals, no matter what area of law you call it. 

After qualifying as a solicitor in 2013, I spent a couple of years with a well-known local high street firm providing general private client services before deciding I wanted to focus specifically on estate administration and I haven’t looked back since. After nearly 9 years at a top 100 law firm, I joined the exceptional private client team at Wollens in 2024 to continue specialising in estate administration.

Over the years, I have encountered many different and complicated situations that people find themselves in after the death of a loved one with a few surprises along the way.  I understand the importance of a trusted and empathetic advisor to help navigate an emotionally challenging time.  My clients are at the heart of what I do, which underpins the service you will receive from any representative of Wollens.  I believe in a team approach, be it with fellow colleagues in other specialisms or external advisors.  I have particular experience in complex and taxable estates as well as fulfilling additional requirements required by charitable administrators or beneficiaries.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family which largely consists of building train tracks and reading stories.  On sunny days you will find me out exploring the beautiful countryside.  On rainy days, I enjoy a good film, particularly musicals, and quizzes.
