I am a partner and I’m the Head of the Dispute Resolution department

I qualified in 2003 and I specialise in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

I advise and represent individuals and business clients from all sectors from manufacturing to farming, and from owner – manager businesses to multi-national businesses, on the full spectrum of commercial disputes.

I have gained a wide experience in helping clients resolve disputes in many areas including:

Contractual disputes;
Partnership and shareholder disputes;
Disputes in relation to corporate governance including advising on directors’ duties;
Breach of warranty claims;
Negligence claims including negligence claims against professionals;
Building disputes;
Intellectual property disputes; and
Constructive trust and proprietary estoppel claims.

A good proportion of my work takes place before court have been issued, where there is the opportunity for disputes to be resolved without the need for legal proceedings. I’m an advocate of and experienced in negotiation as well as other alternative forms of dispute resolution, such as mediation.

Outside of work I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities with my family and I’m a keen cyclist.
