Our commercial dispute resolution team has broad experience of acting for owners of businesses – whether they be shareholders of a company or partners of a business run as a partnership – in disputes with co-owners.
Sadly, disputes between owners of businesses are common, and at any one time we are typically engaged with numerous such disputes. Whilst these disputes can arise at any time and for many different reasons, common reasons include disagreements about exits, business strategy and direction, key decision making, profit / loss sharing and, quite simply, a breakdown of underlying relationships between business owners.
