The consequences of a delayed diagnosis and treatment of cancer can be devastating, especially when the delay increases the risk of the cancer being fatal. They can even say, on the balance of probabilities, at what point in time the cancer was isolated and had not spread.

In many cases, patients could have been cured of the cancer had it been diagnosed earlier, but unfortunately, tens of thousands of cancer patients will lose their lives prematurely due to the delay in their cancer diagnosis.
