Chloe Emery

I joined the Wollens New Build Conveyancing Department in 2021 as a fee earner in the Residential Conveyancing Department after having been a Paralegal at a Local District Council for almost 5 years. As a previous Local Authority Paralegal I have significant competency of the planning system, local land charges operations, local authority enforcement, and commercial property transactions.  It is not possible to specialise in an area of Law whilst working with a small District Council and therefore I successfully maintained a varied and difficult case load which I truly enjoyed. At Wollens my main focus as the principal conduct on property matters is assisting clients with purchasing new build developments, residential sales, re-mortgages, Help to Buy Applications and shared-ownership purchases.

After completing my undergraduate degree in Law, I went on to study the Chartered Legal Executive Course whilst working full time at the Council.  Since completing the CiLEX Qualification, I have recently began studying the Master’s Degree alongside the Legal Practice Course whilst working full-time at Wollens. I am finding my studying thoroughly enjoyable and I look forward to excelling in my career as a Solicitor.

When I am not working, I enjoy travelling the world. I have previously spent a large amount of time travelling, Australia, Asia, New Zealand, Fiji, America and even Europe in a campervan. I am always excited to experience new cultures, visiting new places in the world whilst diving some of the most beautiful dive sites in the world.

If I am not working, on holiday or studying, you will find me in the company of my wonderful family visiting the beautiful Devon Coast.
