Our commitment to you

We pride ourselves on being a law firm that is neither too big or too small. We are perfectly formed. We are a genuine alternative to much larger firms and with significantly more to offer than smaller, high street solicitors. Yet we never lose sight of what’s most important: to provide the best possible guidance in a no-nonsense, approachable and accessible way. And so although we have progressed and developed as a business, we have not lost that personal touch and family feel. You will be joining a firm where our partners and managers are friendly, accessible and approachable. We value the people that work within the business and build trusted relationships. One in three of all our staff have worked for the firm for 10 years or more, all of which are recognised with long service awards.

Wellbeing at work

We are proud to have established a wellbeing culture within the firm and the health & wellbeing of our people is of the utmost importance to us. Our Health and Wellbeing Group continually look at ways to improve wellbeing at work. Wellbeing Mentors exist across our offices they are all trained Mental Health First Aiders. Our Cash Health Plan is a popular part of our employee benefits, which as well as offering financial support towards medical costs, also offers a wide range of wellbeing tools. Work/life balance is a priority to us. We offer a generous holiday allowance and an unpaid leave arrangement if you need a longer break from time to time. In our South Devon Office we have an in-house gym for staff use.

We offer working from home days and meaningful flexible working arrangements and would be very happy to discuss how these benefits could work for you.

Career development & training

We invest fully in supporting personal training and development for our teams and individuals, everyone has access to training and development. Our focus is on firm-wide, departmental and individual training and development, giving access to all and an invitation to discuss training needs regularly. Continuous professional development is supported and encouraged for all staff, of every level, from a range or providers such as Lawnet, Devon and Somerset Law Society, MBL, Legal Futures.
