Sport is by its very nature a competitive and pressurised environment to be in and around which increases the chances of a sports professional to act out of character. This may place players, coaches and athletes facing disciplinary proceedings. These proceedings can be set in motion by the club as the sports person’s employer or the governing body for the relevant sport.
