Abigail Roode

I am a Trainee Solicitor at Wollens, having joined the firm’s North Devon office in October 2022. My first Training Contract seat has been within the Private Client department, in which I have been dealing primarily with Wills, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney under the supervision of Karen Miller.

My subsequent seats are set to be within the firm’s Family and Employment law departments. I really look forward to the rest of my training at Wollens, with aspirations of qualifying as a solicitor with the firm following my training period.

I graduated from Cardiff University in 2021 with a first class honours Bachelor of Law degree. Following this, I remained at Cardiff University for a further year to study my Legal Practice Course, graduating with a distinction in 2022.  Having grown up in beautiful North Devon, I decided to return to the area in June 2022 to begin my solicitor training.

Outside of work I enjoy going for walks on my local beach and spending time with my friends and family. I also love anything music related, whether that be watching musicals and theatre, or attending concerts.
