Abigail Roode

I am a Solicitor in the Family Department at Wollens, based in our North Devon office.

 I work in the Private Family Team. My work primarily involves private family law matters relating to divorce, civil partnership, matrimonial finances, private children law, domestic abuse and cohabitees.

I joined Wollens and started my 2-year training contract in October 2022 after completing my studies. Throughout my training I completed seats in the Private Client, Family, and Company/Commercial departments. I returned to the Family Department in March 2024 for my final seat, and I qualified as a Solicitor in October 2024.

 Prior to joining Wollens I graduated from Cardiff University in 2021 with a 1st class honours Bachelor of Law degree. I then remained at Cardiff University for a further year to study my Legal Practice Course, graduating with a distinction in 2022.  Having grown up in North Devon I decided to return to the area in 2022 to begin my solicitor training.
