Clive Meredith

I’m the Practice Director of Wollens.

I grew up in Dorset but moved to Devon in 1998.  I’ve held a number of management positions in the charity and hospitality sectors before joining then Hooper & Wollen in 2001. My plan was to only come for 2 years and move on but the firm grew so much that I stayed. We’ve been able to develop a great culture within the firm where people are encouraged to flourish and have been recognised as a Great Place to Work nationally over the last couple of years. I also lead on the ESG for the firm.

Working with Chris Hart, Chief Executive on the day-to-day management, strategic vision and ongoing growth of the firm, we’ve managed to develop the firm from 1 office with 45 staff turning over £1.4 million, to having 3 offices employing 160 people and turning over £12 million.

If I’m not in the office you’ll find me on a golf course somewhere!
