Iain Douglas

I am an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and joined the firm in 1982 (when it was Hooper & Wollen) having previously worked with a local law firm in Totnes.

I am part of our Elder Client Team within the Private Client Department managing clients personal affairs under Powers of Attorney and deputyships, creating Lasting Powers of Attorney, and in addition I deal with tax affairs (income tax, CGT, self-employment tax).

My main interest away from work is in local theatre, where I am heavily involved as a performer and as a director, staging major musicals and pantomimes at various local venues including the Princess Theatre, and I am also the South Devon representative for the National Operatic and Dramatic Association and Secretary of both Toads Stage Musical Co and Paignton Pantomime Productions.
