Jon Dunkley

I’m a partner and head up the Commercial Department.

I’m probably best known for employment work, primarily advising businesses on their employment contracts, directors service agreements and in relation to share and business acquisitions. I also litigate employment matters, regularly issuing and defending claims in the Tribunals and in the County and High Courts.

I also advise professional and senior employees on their regulatory obligations, contractual negotiations and on settling employment disputes. I’m also a member of the Employment Law Association.

I also deal with licencing and advise on applications for premises licences and representing business clients at licencing hearings and appeals.

I also assist licencing holders in defending their licences when called for review.

As well as the above I also advise on a wide range of general business matters such as professional and regulatory requirements, data protection, planning law, intellectual property, and general contract issues.

I worked as a university law lecturer, environmental consultant, and researcher before qualifying as a solicitor.
