Katie Masefield

After graduating from the University of Exeter with a 2:1 in my Bachelor of Laws degree, I then undertook the LPC LLM in Professional Legal Practice, which I passed with distinction.

Following the completion of my studies, I moved to London and secured a Paralegal position in the Personal Injury department at a large London firm. My role involved assisting a Senior Associate with the running of high-value catastrophic injury claims.

During the summer of 2021, I returned to live in Devon.

I joined Wollens in September 2021 as a Trainee Solicitor. During my Training Contract, I undertook seats in the Residential Property team, Family team and Private Client team.

In September 2023, I completed my Training Contract and qualified as a Solicitor. Upon qualification, I joined the Private Client team. I currently deal predominantly with the administration of both taxable and non-taxable estates.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, boating and socialising. I also enjoy choral singing, and regularly sing in Exeter Cathedral.
