Kieran McDermott

I am a trainee solicitor currently in the private client team and joined Wollens in July 2022. My workload consists of dealing with the estate administration for probate matters as well as helping with the drafting of wills.

I started as a legal assistant in the new build conveyancing team and began my training contract in September 2023. My first seat as a trainee was in the conveyancing team where I gained practice in both residential and commercial property work. I am really enjoying my current seat in the private client team and am also looking forward to my final seat in the company commercial team.

In 2021, I graduated from the University of the West of England achieving a first class degree in Law with Business (LLB). I continued with my studies at UWE and achieved a distinction in the Legal Practice Course as well as an LLM Masters degree. I look forward to qualifying as a solicitor in September 2025.

Outside of work I compete internationally in taekwondo and kickboxing representing Team UK.
