Laura Lockwood

I am an experienced trainee solicitor in the Regulatory team, presently specialising in employment, planning and licensing matters.

In relation to employment, the majority of my experience is assisting on business restructuring such as redundancies, advising on the Transfer of Undertakings Regulations (TUPE) and assisting on due diligence in asset purchases. I also advise on, and drafts employments contracts and employment handbooks.

I have experience in licencing matters including advising on applications for premises licences, preparing for licencing hearings and appeals and advising licence holders if their licences are called in for review. I also have experience with planning law, including s.106 agreements, certificates of lawfulness and applications to remove specific planning restrictions.

Within my training I have worked on many Commercial and Commercial Property transactions including asset purchases, buying and selling commercial properties and re-financing.
