Mia Ashton

I joined Wollens Family Department as a paralegal in December 2022 under the supervision of Rebecca Procter, Partner and Family Solicitor. I will be here to assist you with all aspects of private children matters such as child arrangement orders, specific issue orders and special guardianship orders.

I am currently studying towards my Chartered Legal Executive qualification with the hope to proceed studies and qualify as a Family Solicitor.

Previously, I worked in a local Road Traffic Law firm where I spent over 3-years as a fee earner. In addition to my fee earner role, I spent time as a legal advisor and working within the critical incidents team.

These roles have allowed me to develop resilience and persistence when dealing with the court and external agencies, provide a sympathetic and listening ear as well as efficiently identifying my clients legal needs and acting without delay. I acknowledge that when you need legal help, it is not always a positive period and I aspire to make your legal dealings as stress free as possible.

Originating from the midlands, I thoroughly enjoy being in the countryside and visiting family. I am also an avid, non-competitive, horse rider which doubles as a great opportunity to unwind.
