Nikki Linsell

I began with Wollens in September 2019, starting as a Legal Secretary in the Commercial Property Department, and have since been promoted to Legal Assistant and now Paralegal.  My role is to assist and support my Solicitor colleagues with their commercial property matters, while also undertaking my own caseload of both commercial and residential property freehold and leasehold transactions.

I moved to Devon from the South East almost 20 years ago, working for several years at a high street bank and then as an estate agent, before finding my passion for the legal profession at a local firm of solicitors in 2016.  I believe that the knowledge and experience I obtained during my time in my banking and estate agency roles gives me a unique insight to conveyancing and compliments all that I have learned since joining Wollens.  As an estate agent I was involved in property purchases and sales right from the beginning, supporting a client on their journey of selling or buying their homes; and as a bank employee I understood the processes and requirements that clients using financing go through, as well as how the banking systems work.

In my spare time I like to challenge myself and have undertaken physical events such as the London and local marathons, and the Lympstone Commando Challenge to raise money for charity.  I also enjoy live music and often jump at the chance to attend concerts and festivals when I can.
