Paula Wakeling-Basham

Originally from Hertfordshire I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer (Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) in 1996. Prior to qualifying I lived and worked in London as a Property Paralegal mainly undertaking residential conveyancing and have specialized since 2015 in Residential and Development Property to include finance/refinance to assist with purchase of land and portfolio property acquisition for buy to let companies. City Coast and Country to include agricultural land division and for example planning Class Q consent sales and purchases. Leasehold and Freehold acquisition, enfranchisement and Management Company creation link to development after incorporation.  I act for clients across the UK.

My goal is to continue to provide an excellent service to clients and to continue with my strong links with other professionals in my field, Agents, Land Owners, Developers and Financial Advisers for example.  I am proud to act for clients who have returned to me again and again over the years recommending others to me.

I live in Devon and certainly love where I live and work. Outside of the office I like to attend networking events and support the local business communities and keep up to date with planning proposals and business activities in the region.   I undertake property renovation in my spare time and enjoy long walks and cycling all over the UK. I will at some point buy another horse and acquire more pets since riding and having a lot of animals around me is my passion.
