Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive
National award winning private client team at Devon based practice, Wollens, have an opportunity. The position is based in our Dartmouth office.
We are looking for an experienced solicitor or Filex (4/5 years PQE) to manage a varied case load including estate administration, estate and tax planning and Will and LPA drafting. The candidate needs to demonstrate an enthusiasm for the work and an ability to manage our client’s expectations and to win their loyalty across the whole firm. You will be self-motivated and should also have energy and ambition to progress within the private client department and within the firm.
To this end the successful candidate would also be expected to actively engage in the marketing and practice development work of the private client team. STEP membership is desirable but not essential.
Legal Secretary – Commercial Property
Wollens have a wonderful opportunity for competent and able Legal Secretary to join our small and friendly team in our Dartmouth office.
The role is primarily to provide support at partner level dealing with commercial property. The role would also provide support to residential property on occasions.
Applicants should have recent experience and excellent I.T. skills, ideally working with digital dictation and case management systems. Experience of commercial/residential property would be a distinct advantage.
The role is full-time, 5 days per week, 36.25 hours. You would be office based 4 days per week and based on reception, with a colleague, on one day per week and during any periods of holiday/ sickness.

Receptionist / Secretary
Wollens Solicitors have a vacancy for a Receptionist / Secretary to join their team at their small, friendly office in Dartmouth.
We would like you to have excellent client care skills, a pleasant telephone manner and be computer literate. The role will involve answering the telephone, forwarding calls, dealing with queries, welcoming clients, taking payments, making appointments.
The role will also involve providing legal secretarial support so previous experience would be a distinct advantage, ideally in private client or property.
The role is available as the current occupant is retiring at the end of August 2019, we are looking for a start date in early August 2019
Hours are 9am to 5.15pm, 4 or 5 days per week. Monday to Friday, one hour for lunch.
Part-time Legal Secretary
Wollens have a vacancy for a competent and able Legal Secretary to provide support for our busy Dispute Resolution department at our Torquay office.
Applicants should have recent secretarial experience and excellent I.T. skills, ideally working with digital dictation and case management systems. The role is part-time, 21.75 hours per week, 9am – 5.15pm. Working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
