Catherine Pinnegar

I joined the Clinical Negligence Team at Wollens in January 2021 having worked at previous firms in London & Exeter practising Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury and Industrial Disease.

I specialise in complex medium and high value claims, working for clients based both locally and nationwide. It is very important to me to develop a good and personable relationship with my clients regardless of where they live.

I am passionate about achieving the best outcome for all of my clients and have a particular interest in delayed diagnosis and fatal injury claims, the latter often involving the need for an Inquest as well as a medical negligence claim. These claims and the Inquests are very difficult for the families involved, and I pride myself on not only achieving the best outcome for the claim but also supporting clients and their families through the distressing and often unfamiliar proceedings.

Outside of work I am a Trustee for Age UK Torbay. I am very proud of my Torbay roots and enjoy making the most of living by coast. You can usually find me at the beach all year round enjoying an early morning dip to help set me up for the day!
