The new Wollens name and brand has been given the thumbs up across the board.
It also took centre stage at the Torbay Business Forum’s first Business Dinner at Torquay’s Grand Hotel last week.
Wollens is the bright new look and feel for Wollen Michelmore after a big, 12-month marketing and rebrand initiative.
A new ‘Full Spectrum Law’ strapline – highlighting the comprehensive services provided by Wollens – has appeared with the new, brightly-coloured logo at Exeter airport, train stations, bus shelters, roundabouts and roadside verges.
It was warmly welcomed at the forum dinner, the first event of its kind to replace the Forum’s former pie and ale evenings.
It was part of a presentation from guest speaker Jim Parker, Wollens’ Business Development Manager and former editor and associate editor of Reach PLC’s four weekly newspapers in Devon, the Herald Express, Express and Echo, North Devon Journal and Gazette series in Tiverton.
Jim was asked to speak about his 45 years as a journalist and how the newspaper industry had changed.
He said change had to be accepted and welcomed if it was delivered in the right way. The new branding for Wollens ticked all those boxes.
Practice manager Clive Meredith said: “We were really privileged to listen to Jim speak about his career and journey. It was great we were able to launch our new branding to the business forum on the night as well and Jim did us proud with a number of plugs! It’s great having Jim working with us as our business development manager, the contacts he’s created over his career will be key to our growth over the next few years.”
