The situation around Coronavirus is fast moving but we would like to reassure you on behalf of the staff and partners at Wollens that work for our clients is continuing whilst we follow the latest advice from the UK Government. Our utmost concern is for the health and safety of everyone that we work with; clients, employees and suppliers across our local communities. With this in mind, we have implemented new measures in terms of working practices and business travel in order to safeguard the interests of our staff and clients and to ensure business continuity.
We have put in place several measures at Wollens to ensure that we will continue to operate, deal with your matters and protect your interests. We are reviewing the situation daily. We have been able to mobilise our staff to ensure that they can work from home as required and still be in contact with clients via telephone and email in order to provide the support needed. As we are a large firm, we have plenty of experts around to ensure that your needs are fulfilled.
Our client records are held electronically which means that our people should be able to access almost all necessary documentation and systems remotely whilst following our usual processes and controls.
Meetings at our offices
We have five separate offices across Devon & they remain open however during the current pandemic and whilst the spread of the virus continues, we have decided that to protect our staff and clients we will not be making any non-urgent face to face appointments or meetings for the time being. We would encourage all clients not to visit our office unless absolutely necessary but to use other forms of communication such as telephone, email or post.
We are confident that matters can continue to be progressed without face to face meetings. Please note that our central email address, which is monitored at all times, is: [email protected]
Prior to arranging any face to face meetings we will be asking the following questions:
- Have you recently returned from travel abroad?
- Are you or any of your household displaying any symptoms since returning from your trip?
- Are you in self isolation or have any household members who are in self-isolation?
- Are you displaying any symptoms as indicated by government advice?
If the answer is yes to any of these questions, we will not be able to see the you until your period of isolation is over.
Thank you for your understanding.
