We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Records team in the firm’s brand-new South Devon Office based in the heart of Torquay.

We have a temporary position to cover maternity leave for a Central Records Storage Assistant. Working as part of a team of three, the main purpose of the role is to maintain the file storage and retrieval process. Your main base will be Torquay, although you may occasionally be required to work from one of our other offices.
Duties will include:-
- Updating spreadsheets and information on our software system ‘SOS’
- Manage monthly file destructions.
- Delivery of Files/Wills and Deeds
- Storage of Wills, Files and Deeds
It would be an advantage if you had previous experience in working with the storage of documents or similar stock within a professional organisation, including bar coding, although this is not essential as full training will be provided.
The successful applicant will be able to work on their own initiative, be self-motivated, have high levels of accuracy/attention to detail and be well organised. Competent computer and keyboard skills with the ability to work in software packages would be an advantage, as would knowledge of working in Excel. A full, clean driving licence is desirable.
This is a part-time role working 20-30 hours per week (can be flexible for right applicant).
