The Glitter Girls are about to take to the streets – and they need your help.

The girls are all members of the Wollens team taking part in this year’s Rowcroft Hospice fund-raising Sleep Walk.

Based in Torquay and Newton Abbot, the ladies taking part are Zoe Gask, Trish Candy, Abigail Marsh, Emma Smaldon, June Gully, Leanne Triggs, Sue Norrish, Tracy Bell and Anna Stanbridge.

It will be Trish and Zoe’s fourth year running when they step out with the Wollens team on Saturday (July 6) and it is the biggest team yet from the law firm.

Zoe says: “We take part in many different events to raise money for Rowcroft Hospice which relies on fund-raising to fund the amazing patient care they provide to over 2,000 people each year with life limiting illnesses in South Devon.

“It is a really fun night out, with a 5k walk starting at the Riviera International Conference Centre and along the beautiful coast to Hollicombe park, where there is the Lights of Love and a colourful cocktail from G-Bar for us to enjoy before turning around and returning to the RICC to finish.

“There are usually lots of other surprises along the way too! The energy is always really positive.”

The theme this year is Girls Night Out and around 1,600 ladies have signed up.

Zoe says; “It will involve lots of glitter and sparkle.”

Previous themes have included Fun on the Farm, Pirates and The 80’s.

The Glitter Girls have set up a fund-raising page for sponsorships and donations and are appealing to everyone to dig deep!
