The ideal candidate will either be a qualified legal executive or solicitor capable of running their own caseload. You will have excellent client care skills as the department, and the firm, prides itself on exceeding clients’ expectations.
You will be working in the area of employment law. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work, and will in particular:
- provide expert legal advice and representation to clients across a range of employment law matters;
- provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients on issues such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, and contractual disputes;
- conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare cases for hearings and tribunals.
- negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation, conciliation, and other alternative dispute resolution processes;
- build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and fostering client trust and confidence;
- stay abreast of developments in employment law and contribute to the continuous improvement of legal services within the firm.
