Hi-tech is the name of the game as Devon law firm Wollens add another string to their extensive bow of services for their clients.
They are working in partnership with leading legal-tech company Settify to offer a modern and forward-thinking ‘real time’ service in its family law department.
Settify has developed a website system to meet Wollens’ specific requirements so it can interact intelligently with clients, providing instant and personalised guidance online.
Clients will be able to access the free service around the clock so help can be offered ‘anywhere, anytime’.
Using the website tool is simple. Clients click on the Settify link and are asked to give a few details on how the vastly-experienced Wollens family law team can help them.
It could involve advice being sought on an array of matters including:
- Children and other family issues, including adoption or how to seek court orders.
- Advice on separation be it about property or children’s arrangements or both.
- Nuptial/co-habitation agreements.
- Child support or child maintenance services.
- Foreign marriages or divorces.
All the relevant information is gathered and passed on to the Wollens team so an appointment can be arranged with a solicitor.
Ellie Lorimer, a family lawyer for Wollens based at Dartmouth, said: “We are delighted to be offering this service to our clients, who can now seek initial access and support around the clock.
“We have had great feedback from the online questionnaire which can be completed in advance of our initial tailored meetings allowing clear and detailed advice to be provided early on.”
The new service fits neatly into Wollens’ new ‘Full Spectrum Law’ mantra which derived from its recent extensive and successful rebranding initiative and reflects the comprehensive portfolio of services and expertise offered by the law firm.
Settify’s CEO and Principal Lawyer Max Paterson added: “Discerning clients now want more than great legal minds. They expect the top minds to be backed up by cutting-edge systems, providing a seamless experience and a strategic edge in their matter.”
Since launching in 2017, Settify have won multiple industry awards for innovation.
Mr Paterson said: “We are extremely proud to announce our partnership with Wollens, which is well recognised as a first-class firm in the West Country. They are clearly serious about not only providing brilliant legal minds, but also ensuring the service the firm offers is modern, effective, and great value for money.”
