Wollens have been shortlisted for a top industry award.
They are one of three finalists in the Business Development/Marketing category of this year’s prestigious LawNet Awards.
LawNet is one of the country’s leading law firm networks and has been supporting independent legal companies for 30 years. Wollens entered the Business Development /Marketing category after an intense year further developing and marketing the business. The past 12 months has included two mergers and a huge re-brand and renaming initiative for the former Wollen Michelmore company.
Chief executive Chris Hart said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious award, recognising the significant work undertaken this year in promoting the firm, including our fantastic re-brand which has been so well received.”
Wollens Business Development Manager Jim Parker said: “It was great to play a part in what has been an extremely busy 12 months. It was a real team effort.”
Marketing manager Michelle Pugh added: “A huge amount of time and energy went into this across the entire company. It is brilliant to be recognised.”
The category criteria says Business Development and Marketing teams have a ‘crucial part to play in contributing to the success of their firms. Their roles are multi-faceted and can encompass numerous activities including web and digital presence, marketing communications, service development, event management, client service, key account management, internal communications and many others’.
The other finalists are Dillon Solicitors and Warner Goodman.
Category winners will be announced at LawNet’s annual conference dinner at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport on Friday November 8.
