Wollens is delighted to highlight the celebration of long-service milestones for 12 members of the Wollens team at their Christmas party in December. The company recognises and awards employees for their dedication with long-service awards at 10-year intervals and every 5 years thereafter.
At the recent party, Elizabeth Larner and Jessica Wycliffe-Jones were honoured for achieving 10 years of service. Additional award recipients included Liz Rigden, Ed Lee, Sarah Matthews, and Alex Jenkins, who were recognised for 15 years of service. Jon Dunkley and Emma Smaldon reached the 20-year milestone, while Rebecca Procter achieved an impressive 25 years of service. Suzy Castell was honoured for 35 years of dedication, and Andrew Guthrie and Maurice Clark were recognised for an extraordinary 40 years of service.
Gary Brenton, the HR Director, expressed his admiration for the recognised staff members, highlighting their dedication to the firm. He noted that the company now boasts 150+ employees 45 of which have over 10 years of service, equating to an impressive one-third of the workforce. The combined years of service among these employees stand at an astounding 968 years. Gary emphasised the crucial role that the strength of the workforce plays in the success of the business and expressed pride in the team’s accomplishments. Overall, this showcases the company’s commitment to recognising and valuing the long-term contributions of its employees.
