The presentation of the Devon & Somerset Law Society Legal Awards for 2020 took place last night (September 23rd) in a digital ceremony after several attempts to hold the Dinner originally planned for April 2020 were postponed for COVID reasons. Hosted by the BBC’s David Fitzgerald the awards celebrate and raise the profile of the solicitors profession. Entries, submitted in 2019/2020 have been rigorously judged by an expert panel.
The online ceremony was viewed by firms and individuals across the region who celebrated individual and team success.
Wollens were absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted across seven categories and awarded winner of the Law firm of the year (Large law firm £3m+ turnover) for 2020.
The individuals who made it to the shortlist were :
Kit Hounsell (Support Team Member), Judith Manser (Chartered Legal Exec), Rachel Carter (Legal Aid Lawyer), Rebecca Procter (Leader), Christopher Linton (Solicitor), and the Rebrand Team (Team)
Amongst a very challenging 18 months it’s a great achievement for Wollens to win the Law Firm of the Year award.
