Building on specialist skills in Commercial, Litigation and Family Law,  we are delighted to welcome new lawyers to our Wollens South Devon offices – before, during and after lockdown.

Dominic Hollingsworth, Head of Corporate Services 

Joining just before Lockdown as Director of Corporate Services Dominic Hollingsworth strengthens our commercial team based in South Devon. Dominic is an experienced corporate and has acted for many local businesses. His experience includes specialising in share acquisitions and disposals (including corporate restructuring) as well as business and asset acquisitions and disposals.  Additionally, Dominic advises on joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, LLP and partnership arrangements.

Recognised in both Chambers and Legal 500 directories as “straight talking” and “with an ability to explain difficult matters in simple terms”, Dominic said “I look to offer far more than legal advice, acting as a trusted adviser, navigating clients through the complex world of corporate transactions and always looking to see what more I can do to make the process as smooth and as painless as possible”.

At Wollens we understand the need to be able to deliver an exceptional service for commercial clients, Dominic has all of the relevant experience to deliver this, he is professional and always accessible – we look forward to him being part of the team at the new South Devon office which is set to open in November.

Laura D’Alessandro, Family Law Executive 

Laura D’Alessandro joined the family team at Wollens in March 2020 having graduated from Plymouth University with a First Class Honours Degree and completed her Barrister Training course.

Laura specialises in children work and will be able to advise and assist on all issues arising.  These include:

  • Parental Responsibility
  • Child Arrangements
  • Parenting Plans
  • Children removal/abduction
  • Grandparents and other carers
  • Drug, alcohol, mental health

Laura has worked with both children and adults with learning difficulties, including those with autism which enables her to connect more readily with clients and their families who face those challenges.

Kennedy Lugg, Paralegal 

Kennedy Lugg Joins Wollens as a Paralegal within our Dispute Resolution team. Working under the guidance of Partner and Head of department Simon Bean and litigation solicitor Hannah Venn-Munns, Kennedy will be dealing with a wide range of litigation matters.

Kennedy completed her undergraduate degree in Law & Criminology at the University of Plymouth and then went on to study her LPC at through the University of Law at the University of Exeter.

Since completing her LPC Kennedy has worked for a large trans-Atlantic firm primarily dealing with Debt Recovery matters and also enjoyed a client secondment dealing with Data Protection breaches. Additionally, she has experience in dealing with Property Litigation matters, ranging from re-possession to disrepair.
