It’s wonderful that they have successfully completed their two-year training contracts and will now be taking up permanent positions at the firm. Their hard work and dedication  has undoubtedly paid off, and Wollens  is thrilled to have them as part of their team.

Katie’s academic achievements, including her 2:1 Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Exeter and her completion of the LPC LLM at the University of Law at Exeter University, demonstrate her commitment to legal education. She went on to work as a paralegal in London and then commenced her training contract at Wollens gaining experience in Residential Property, Family, and Private Client which have equipped her with valuable skills for her role in the Private Client team based in Exeter.

Kennedy’s educational journey, starting with her 2:1 degree in Law and Criminology from Plymouth University and her subsequent completion of the LPC and MSc at the University of Law at Exeter University, reflects her dedication to legal studies. Her work as a paralegal and her training contract at Wollens in Litigation, Private Client, and Residential Property have provided her with a good experiences to build on, which will undoubtedly be an asset as she now takes up a role with the Property Litigation team.

Partner and Private Client Lawyer Charlotte McGregor said “We are delighted that Katie will be joining our Private Client department. Having qualified from an Estate Administration seat, we are thrilled that she will continue to serve her existing clients who have taken to her warm and professional approach to dealing with what can often be emotional and complex matters. Katie will continue to focus on Estate Administration work and will strengthen our offering out of our Exeter office.”

Simon Bean, Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution said “I am really delighted to welcome Kennedy to our Litigation / Dispute Resolution team as a fully-qualified solicitor.  Kennedy joined us 3 years ago, having completed her law degree and Legal Practice Course previously, and has spent most of that time in our team focussing on and developing experience in property litigation matters.  Her qualification is the result of determination, perseverance and talent, and I am delighted that she has joined our property litigation team, where she will no doubt thrive.  Her presence will strengthen our Dispute Resolution services generally, particularly in property-related matters.”

Wollens is fortunate to have such talented individuals like Katie and Kennedy joining our team, and we hope that their experiences will contribute to the firm’s success in different legal areas. Congratulations to both of them once again, and best wishes for their future careers at Wollens.
