Domestic abuse
Every year an estimated 2.1 million people aged 16 years and over experience domestic abuse. The definition of domestic abuse is now extended, to not only include physical violence/abuse but also sexual abuse, financial abuse, coercive and controlling behaviour, gaslighting/emotional abuse and digital/online abuse.
If you think you may be suffering domestic abuse, you are not alone. Our specialist team can provide urgent and confidential advice and support to you, ranging from applying for protective injunctions (non-molestation and occupation orders) and reporting abuse to relevant agencies on your behalf. We want to keep you and any child(ren) of your family safe, but it is important that you take that first step in getting help.
