Our partnership with Exeter City Football Club has enabled the launch of a new internship programme. This innovative programme is designed to provide aspiring professionals with invaluable hands-on experience in the sport and legal sectors. Our appointed candidate has the opportunity to work with both Wollens and Exeter City, gaining an understanding of the business and regulatory landscape. This forms part of both parties’ commitment to investing in talent.

Helping our team to understand current sporting challenges is Marco Floreale, a solicitor with a difference. Marco is a qualified lawyer – but was also a Football Association Registered Intermediary. His passion is working in the world of sport, especially football, and his focus is on helping people in the sports sector with everything you would expect from your representative.
Marco grew up in the London area and initially qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives before completing his Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Certificate in Waterloo London. He practised for over 15 years in Reading Berkshire undertaking all aspects of Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution before emigrating and living overseas in France, South Africa and Mauritius for 8 years.
Marco joined Wollens in April 2023 and has been instrumental in setting up the firms Sports Law Division which has grown significantly and continues to go from strength to strength with a number of new sporting partnerships.
